When I talk about dieting and autoimmunity, it’s from personal experience.

I gained weight very suddenly in high school, starting me on the path of eating low calorie and low fat foods. Despite the calorie restriction, my weight continued to rise. I was eating under 1,000 calories a day, training for marathons, and eating completely gluten-free... yet my weight was the highest it'd ever been and my health had crumbled.

After nearly a decade of dieting and suffering from my autoimmune disease, I decided to try something new. I changed my diet and exercise routine, and also started focusing on lifestyle factors no doctor or nutritionist had ever talked to me about. Within a couple of weeks, my weight started to go down. Within a few months of using the techniques in this program, I achieved my balanced weight and felt healthier with more energy than ever.

No, it doesn't have to. A phased method is recommended when transitioning from a Standard American Diet (SAD) to this program, which will help to ease into a potential increase in grocery budget. Most of my students see only a marginal increase in their grocery budget, and typically this has been offset by a reduction in their health bills, prescriptions, and dining out budgets.

+ Will I only be able to shop at specialty grocery stores?

No way! You can choose to shop at Walmart, Aldi, Target, Natural Grocers, Whole Foods, or your local Farmers Market. Your choice!

+ I'm busy! A full-time working mom/wife/friend/crazy person. Will I have time for this program?
